5. How Do End-Users Consent to Receive Messages?
End users give express written consent in person. When someone requests services from Saved 2 Serve, Inc. (including its Love Moves Furniture Program), or signs up to volunteer, staff collect their mobile number on an intake or volunteer form and show them the following consent statement. Consent is recorded on the person’s record only after they agree, and it is never assumed.
The exact consent language shown is: “I agree to receive text messages from Love Moves – appointment and service reminders, updates about my case, and volunteer shift reminders – at the number I provided. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.”
